Insurance
I am not in-network with any insurance companies. If you have out-of-network mental health or behavioral health benefits, you may be eligible for full or partial reimbursement through your insurance company. I can provide you with all of the paperwork and documentation necessary for you to submit for reimbursement. At the bottom of this page are a list of guiding questions to help you speak to your insurance provider to find out your specific benefits.
I have my Psychotherapy "R" Privilege, which is the highest level of clinical social work licensure in New York State and indicates advanced training and experience specifically in providing psychotherapy. If your insurance provides reimbursement of psychologists and psychiatrists, the "R" privilege requires them to also provide you with reimbursement for my psychotherapy services (http://www.op.nysed.gov/prof/sw/lcswprivilege.htm).
Payment
I accept all major credit cards as forms of payment. Payment is due at the time of service. You will enter your information into my secure site one time, and then your credit card will be charged after each session. A credit card on file is required for all clients.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that things come up and emergencies happen. I will always try to reschedule appointments whenever possible. If you are unable to attend a session, please cancel at least 24 hours beforehand to avoid being charged for the full rate of the session.
Questions
Please contact me for any additional questions you may have. I look forward to speaking with you.

Questions to Ask Your Insurance Provider
When you know the right questions to ask, talking to your insurance provider about your benefits is much less intimidating. Use the list below as a guide to speak to your insurance provider so you can make the right decision for you.
Call the number on your insurance card and ask:
-What is my annual deductible?
-How much of my deductible have I already met for the current year?
-How many therapy sessions are covered per calendar year?
-Do my therapy sessions need to be pre-authorized?
-Are tele-health (video) therapy sessions covered?
-What percentage am I reimbursed for routine behavioral health care out-of-network?
-How do I file a claim to submit for reimbursement?
These questions will help you determine the amount you have to spend to meet your deductible, and how close you are to that number. You will also learn what percentage insurance will pay you back once you meet your deductible.
